Enjoy countryside, mountain and coastal views of the Emerald Isle!
Meet & Greet – make your way to Fishguard for a warm welcome from the Biker Spirit Team and meet your fellow tourers before boarding the afternoon ferry to Rosslare. Once disembarked, a brief ride (25 miles) gets us to Enniscorthy, a charming town where we’ll spend the first night before beginning our tour adventure in the morning.

Day One – Enniscorthy to Galway (155 miles) - heading north, we quickly leave the coast behind us and enjoy the growing panorama of Black Rock Mountain, Mount Leinster and the Blackstairs Mountain before reaching the market town of Carlow. From here we continue North-West through the rural heart of Ireland before ascending through the Slieve Bloom Mountains. The road then takes us to Portumna at the northern tip of Lough Derg before transiting the rich dairy farmland that stretches all the way to Galway Bay and the county 'city' of the same name, where we’ll spend our next two nights. Galway provides great Irish tradition, food and music and you'll have plenty of time in the evening to explore and enjoy this vibrant place.

Day Two – The Wild West Coast (150 miles) - ditch the luggage and look forward to a play day! With lighter bikes and a whole day to explore we head for the ruggedly beautiful hills and coastline of Connemara, the Partree Mountains and Loughs big enough to swallow Birmingham. The wild, west coast is considered by many to be the real gem of the Emerald Isle and this ride takes in some of the very best it has to offer with a mix of stunning scenery, great roads and charming towns that reflect the true character of the Irish. Then its back to Galway for more Irish hospitality!

Day Three – Galway to Killarney (160 miles) - today’s ride takes us south along rugged Atlantic coast via some interesting and exciting roads to the Shannon Estuary. Like much if Ireland the passing miles are predominantly rural with occasional towns and villages that punctuate the journey with a by now familiar character and charm. A short ferry crossing carries us over the broad expanse of the river Shannon to Tarbert where we regain dry land for the run into Killarney and two nights in a lovely town and great accommodation.

Day Four – Dingle and the Ring of Kerry (170 miles) - another luggage free day so time to stretch a little further and enjoy Ireland's South Western peninsulas. Once cited as 'the most beautiful place on earth' by the National Geographic, the Dingle Peninsula really is one of nature’s finer examples of natural beauty juxtaposed with evidence of man’s presence both ancient and modern. The route takes in the North and South coasts of this jagged promontory before joining the famous Ring of Kerry. Equally lauded for its natural beauty, this part of the route offers yet more spectacular mountain scenery, beautiful beaches and charming towns and villages before returning to Killarney via Macgillycuddy’s Reeks for a relaxed evening.

Day Five – Killarney to Wexford (175 miles) - this longer but less demanding day of the tour takes us through rural Ireland to the famous Blarney Castle and Lismore before taking a spectacular diversion to the North through the Knockmealdown Mountains via The (locally well known) Vee. Clonmel, Carrick on Suir and Waterford punctuate a relaxed ride through green farmland, meandering rivers and rolling hills as we push east back to delightful Enniscorthy for the last two nights of the tour.

Day Six – Irish Sea and Wicklow Mountains (150 miles) - luggage free once more today’s ride pushes North to track the East coast up to Arklow. From here the route heads inland via the beautiful Avoca Valley to explore the Wicklow Mountains National Park with its peaks rising up to 3,039 ft and spectacular valleys beneath them. Having traversed the mountains from East to West we swing South again to skirt the ranges boundary, gradually swinging towards Wexford. The remainder of the journey witnesses gradually shrinking hills as we join the River Slaney on its meandering route to the sea. It's our last evening to enjoy the local cuisine, drink some fine ale and share our tour experiences together.

Day Seven – Enniscorthy to Rosslare (25 miles) - a good breakfast and a short hop to join the morning ferry back to Fishguard, we’ll be with you for this final part of the tour until we disembark in Wales and wish you well for your onward journeys.
